How to check your bust size

How to check your bust size? We know that we can easily go up and down in a dress size as quick as look at a piece of cake!

So many ladies do not know their true bra size. We thought it might be useful to put a guide on how you can do this at home. This will help to ensure you choose a nightdress, which gives you that extra comfort that you are looking for.

However, if you are still unsure, we are at the end of the phone and happy to offer support too.

To correctly measure your bust size follow these steps:

Measure Your Band Size:

Wear a non-padded bra: This helps get the most accurate measurement.

Position the tape measure: Wrap it around your ribcage, just under your bust. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight and is parallel to the ground.

Take the measurement:  Round to the nearest whole number. If the measurement is an even number, add 4 inches. If it is an odd number, add 5 inches. This is your band size.

Measure Your Bust Size:

Position the tape measure: Wrap it around the fullest part of your bust, usually at nipple level. Ensure the tape measure is parallel to the ground and not too tight or too loose.

Take the measurement: Round to the nearest whole number.

Calculate Your Cup Size:

Subtract the band size from the bust measurement: The difference between these two measurements determines your cup size.

– 0-inch difference = AA cup

– 1 inch difference = A cup

– 2 inches difference = B cup

– 3 inches difference = C cup

– 4 inches difference = D cup

– 5 inches difference = DD cup

– 6 inches difference = E cup

– 7 inches difference = F cup

– 8 inches difference = FF cup

– 9 inches difference = G cup

Example Calculation:

Band Measurement: If you are under bust measurement is 31 inches, add 5 (since it’s odd), making it 36 inches for your band size.

Bust Measurement: If the fullest part of your bust measures 38 inches.

Cup Size Calculation: 38 (bust) – 36 (band) = 2 inches difference, which corresponds to a B cup.

So, your bra size would be 36B.

Tips:

Measure in front of a mirror: This helps ensure the tape is level.

Measure at the end of the day: This is when your bust is at its fullest.

Recheck measurements periodically: Body changes can affect your bra size.

Using this method ensures a more accurate and comfortable fit for your bras.
